Time To Dance

Well everything is back into full swing after that great winter break and the kids have settled back into their classes and choreography for recital has begun! Please make every effort to have the dancers at all their classes so they don't miss choreography; it really holds everyone back when we are missing dancers. But please don't bring them if they are really sick!!! I have to say that thus far it has been great with students attending classes and we really appreciate that. Thank you

All costume balances should be into the studio now and if you are new and have to pay for one yet, please make sure we receive it ASAP! they take a good 12 weeks to come in and we want them in for photos!!

We do have class on Presidents day!!! If we took off every Monday holiday, we would rarely have class. so please be sure to come in if you are a Monday class.

Competition team has payment #2 due March 1st! Pulse and Nuvo Valentines weekend- you will be briefed more at the next comp meeting 2/8 @ 6:30

Easter Chocolate will be out very soon. If you are looking for a way to cut costs you receive 25% of what ever you sell! It will go directly onto your dance account. I know many of you did this earlier in the year and paid off costumes- so if you want to pay off some tuition this way that would be great! Forms will be available in the office.

Competition Team will be hosting a Beer Blast to help defer costs for competition. It will be held at Hair of the Dog on Buffalo Ave. Thank you Tammy for letting us host this there :). It will be held on 3/23/12 from 6pm-9pm. Cost is $20pp and includes Free Beer and Food. Please help us out if can, they will have drink specials for those of you who do not like Beer. But $20 for food and beer for 3 hours is an awesome price and it will really help the kids. Tickets will also be available at the desk. Thank you and please spread the word.

FRIDAY NIGHT DANCERS- PLEASE REMEMBER THAT CLASS IS CANCELED FEBRUARY 10TH, HOWEVER WE WILL DO THAT CLASS ON SAT FEB 4TH-PLEASE REFER TO SCHEDULE WE GAVE YOU.

Any parent thinking about competition for next year and are new to the competition experience, there will be an informational meeting on Friday, February 24th at the studio from 7:30-8:30. We will discuss what is involved, mandatory classes, costs and fees and answer questions for you. We will be adding a few recreational competition teams next season along with a preschool age Duck Pond performance group!

Spring Break! We will be doing the week after Easter. Everyone seems to have different times however all schools have off April 9-13 so that is when we will be closed.

Recital Packets are done and are being printed along with Show orders. There is two show this yer, a Friday and Saturday. NOt every class is in both days with the exception of the competition team and anyone who dances in classes with the competition team.

Show date reminders: Rehearsals at Niagara Falls High School are wed 6/27 for the Friday show and Thurs 6/28 for the Saturday show. both rehearsals are 4pm-9pm. Friday night recital on 6/29 6:30 show and then Saturday show at 1pm. We will have rehearsals on Monday and Tuesday as well so please keep those dates open and free just trying to see if we can use the high school for those rehearsals as well!

We will be having a 6 week Preschool class beginning February 29th from 7-8pm for ages 3-5. This will be an introductory class to dance and will only be for 6 weeks, no recital, costume or registration fee. Cost will be $60 and space will be limited- so please spread the word and let anyone know who you think might be interested! Thanks

6 week Beginner Adult Tap program beginning March 1st! $60 for 6 week session- no costume, recital or registration. whether its been yers or have never tapped and would like to give it a try this is the program for you! Great workout and lots of fun, hope to see some of you there.

Fantasy Island will be Monday, May28th this year at 2pm. More info coming your way and we will do the big family picnic again this year. look for the sign up sheet at studio in May! All dancers get a free ticket in and one chapperon ticket. Dance and then play all day!!!
